374: Primal Masters Club Interviews Elizabeth

Back in July  you guys suggested that we turn the tables on the podcast and I be in the hot seat for an interview. I turned to my Primal Potential Masters Club to put together a list of questions and I’m sharing parts of the interview with you!

We are talking struggles, moderation, body acceptance, goals and so much more on today’s podcast. I share my thoughts on what has surprised me most about Primal Potential, when I decided to start my own company and lots of thoughts on my own personal journey and experiences as a podcaster/teacher.

If you have questions you’d like me to answer, put them in the comments and I’ll make sure to answer every one either in the comments or on my Anchor channel.

Please note: there is a curse word in this episode.

    Hey EB!
This hands down makes my list of my favorite epidodes! I always love hearing you being interviewed…afterall that’s how I found you January last year on Tips of the Scale:)

I have a follow up or clarification question on one of the answers.
You mention that you were much stricter at the beginning of your journey, leaving no room for error or excuses.
How do you reconcile that with the message that I’ve come to identify with you and your message… that of minimum effective dose and degrees of improvement?
I’ve always heard you say at the beginning you basically started off by improving or slightly reduce some of the foods that you wouldn’t necessarily call healthy today and you did that until you didn’t see results and then added more.
I guess I just need you to connect the 2 for me because I used to believe that the only way to see results is going all out like you described in today’s episode but I couldn’t sustain it and I finally connected and making progress with the method you teach.
    Thank you once again!

Hi Thulz – you heard and understood me right – I think in today’s episode I said “after a few months…” I did begin by making gradual improvements and then adding more. And then I was able & willing to do more. And I ate really clean without excuses. And it worked for me.

There is no one, singular right way. It’s what YOU are able and willing to do & sustain that delivers results. So to say “the only way to see results is…” just won’t be true no matter what follows the “…” Instead of thinking about hypotheticals and my results, stay focused on what YOU are able and willing to do TODAY to drive results on your journey.
