Though I am not a fan of one-size-fits-all approaches to any goal, there is one resolution I believe everyone should make this year and I’m sharing it in today’s episode.
This episode is the last one to air in 2017 but it doesn’t matter when you stumble across this gem – it has the power to dramatically accelerate your progress, reduce your excuses & change your life!

Hi Elizabeth, Happy New Year 🙂 . Thank you for all you do. I hope this isn’t a cheeky question but have you ever considered having your podcasts available as a transcript? Is that an expensive thing to do? I find I can skim transcripts quickly to see if the content is something I will benefit from, and thus save some time. Again, I don’t want to add expense to your already massively free content, nor do I want to offend. 2018 is going to be epic – you’ve experienced such massive growth yourself and shared it very generously. Thanks again.
Hi Isabel – I don’t think it’s cheeky at all. Yes I have considered transcripts and I have produced transcripts. I paid to have them made for about 75 episodes but they weren’t being downloaded so I stopped.
she did that a few years ago but not enough people used it
Hi Elizabeth – For this episode – one question (ha, pun intended) – should we ask ourselves the same question(s) every day? Or are you suggesting just a question that will move you forward? Love your podcast… just started listening so I’m looking forward to binge listening over the weekend! 🙂
Hi Jennifer! The answer to if you should ask the same question each day or not depends on you. Your will find the answers in your practice. Does it work for you? Keep asking it. Is it getting you the results you want? Is it applicable to the day at hand? There is no simple yes/no but only what works for you.
I really loved this podcast. I listened to it this morning then immediately made myself a question for today: “What is one thing I could do today to feel in control and accomplished?” My answer was ‘keep the kitchen clean”. It is now 11:20 pm and I am winding down the day feeling proud and accomplished because the kitchen is clean! It feels great! I don’t know what my question for tomorrow will be, but I’m looking forward to doing this everyday of the year and so excited that big results will come my way. Thank you so much for your podcasts!
Yeah! I love this so much! Thanks for letting me know – stay in touch!
Elizabeth… I just discovered your blog and podcasts 2 weeks ago and have been soaking up every word I can. I’m loving the time I allow inbetween to mull, ponder, inquire, question, and reveal.
This podcast I listened to today, was just what i needed to give me that little push to “want” to reject overwhelm, and move my day forward. I used Annette’s question from above… “What is the one thing I can do today to feel in control and accomplished?” And using my new affirmation… “action ➡️ reults ➡️ motivation ➡️ more action!” …I progressed my day forward in a positive way! Life feels manageable and doable. I feel encouraged and hopeful! Thank you!
As you were taking about the question cards… I decided to take index cards and write my one question a day on one side… the other side I will write the date and the answer. So can look back, see how things have changed, stay motivated, be inspired, and celebrate.
I would be one of those that would download the podcast transcripts if you ever decided to bring the idea back.
I just recieved my copy of “Chasing Cupcakes”… and I can hardly wait to jump in!
Blessings to you.
I love this so much, Deanne! Please keep me posted – especially about how the questions work for you and what you think of Chasing Cupcakes!!!
