The timing was/is amazing on this one. After an earlier “fight” with someone I care about I will know better how to handle it next time (and I am pretty sure there will be a next time) It is so hard when you care for someone but it is even harder to listen to so much complaining when you know they could be (feel) better. (seemingly with your help) Lead by example – quietly, good advice. Keep up the GREAT work!
You know what I am tired of hearing? “if that were true then why wouldn’t the news or my doctor be telling me that” argh… shhhhhh =)
Haven’t they seen the new study on the news saying brussel sprouts are good for them?? =)
I hear you! It’s not always easy. But pressure builds resistance. And as far as “why wouldn’t my doctor being telling me…” – I always say, “let your body be your guide” Do what makes you FEEL and LOOK your absolute best. And, great advice comes from kindergarden teachers – keep your eyes on your own work. If we all just focus on doing the best we can for our own bodies, great things will happen. 🙂
