You’d NEVER Speak That Way About Someone Else…

I get hating your body. I do. This was me just a few years ago (and not even at my heaviest, just my heaviest caught on camera…)

I said a lot of horrible things about my body. Even as I lost weight, I said nasty things about my body. Hateful things. That was before I knew that I couldn’t successfully hate my way to a body I loved…

One of my Fat Loss Fast Track clients recently made some self-deprecating comments about the rolls under her sweater and what a disaster her arms used to be.

I’ll share with you what I said to her:

You wouldn’t be okay talking about someone else’s body that way. No one’s body deserves more respect than yours does.

Look, you can want more. You can desire and work towards improvements. I’m all for that. I’m in that pursuit with you.

But here’s the thing: you either treat yourself with respect or you don’t.

The way you talk to yourself reflects either respect or disrespect.

Your choices reflect whether you respect yourself or you don’t.

If you want to make better choices, start working towards not speaking with such extreme disrespect to yourself or about yourself.

It starts with you.

You can’t hate your way to a body you love.

No one’s body deserves more respect, from you, than your own.
